The pepper, salt and garlic powder help to season the chicken. While the maple syrup, honey, apple cider vinegar and brown sugar helps give a punch of flavor to it. The fabulous glaze is baked in. And any extra glaze in the skillet can be reserved for pouring over it when serving.
- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Maple syrup
- Honey
- Apple cider vinegar
- Brown sugar
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Garlic powder
- Extra virgin olive oil

Instructions
- Step 1: Combine the black pepper, salt and garlic powder and sprinkle it over both sides of chicken.
- Step 2: In a greased skillet, cook chicken in a single layer. Thoroughly cook on both sides until a little golden brown and there is no longer pink inside.
- Step 3: Combine the maple syrup, honey, apple cider vinegar and brown sugar and stir well.
- Step 4: Pour all of the glaze over cooked chicken breast and cook for ten minutes on low heat. Turning the chicken halfway through.
Hint: Keep a close eye on the skillet while the glaze is baking on the chicken. You want to make sure it does not burn.

Equipment
- 1 ramekin or small bowl.
- 1 medium bowl
- 1 Large skillet
- 1 fork for mixing glaze.
- 1 Pair of tongs
Ingredients
- 14 oz boneless skinless chicken breast.
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ tablespoon black pepper
- ¼ tablespoon salt
- ¼ tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil for skillet.
Instructions
- Pour extra virgin olive oil into a large skillet covering the entire skillet.
- Combine the pepper, salt and garlic powder and sprinkle it over both sides of each piece of chicken. I like to also rub the mixture into the chicken.
- Place chicken in skillet and cook over medium heat for approximately twenty minutes turning throughout. Cooking it all the way through until there is no pink.
- Make the glaze by adding the maple syrup, honey, apple cider vinegar and brown sugar together. Stir well with a fork. Then pour it over the cooked chicken.
- Bake the chicken in the glaze over low heat for ten minutes. Turning it halfway through.
