Equipment
- 1 Cup measuring cup
- 1 spoon
- 1 Medium saucepan
- 2 dishes or bowls for fruit and dip
- 1 Airtight container
Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh strawberries
- 1 pint fresh blueberries
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese
Instructions
- Rinse all of the fruit under cool running water and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Arrange fruit in a dish or bowl of your choice then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
- Place the mini marshmallows and butter into a medium saucepan. Cook over low to medium heat for about five minutes. Stirring occasionally and being sure not to let stick to pan. Do not melt down the marshmallows completely.
- Add the cream cheese to the marshmallow and butter mixture. Over low to medium heat, stir continuously until everything is completely blended. This may take about three minutes. Remove from heat as soon as it is completely mixed together.
- Carefully scoop out the fruit dip into an airtight container and refrigerate until cold. Then serve dip in a small bowl alongside of the fruit and enjoy.
