Directions to make Zuppa del Giorno.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage according to its' package directions. When cooled, dice into small pieces.
- In a large stock pot, sauté over medium heat the olive oil, minced garlic and onion until soft.
- Next, add the remaining ingredients except for the Italian sausage and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Turn down to medium heat and cook for ten minutes. Don't let it boil anymore. Stir occasionally.
- Add the Italian sausage and cook on low for another ten minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir.

- ½ cup uncooked orzo pasta
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- ¾ cup milk
- 4 tablespoon butter
