- Rice Krispy cereal - added for a nod to traditional Rice Krispy treats.
- butter - I used unsalted butter.
- Lucky Charms marshmallow treats - these colorful marshmallows help give the delicious taste and also a green tint.
- mini marshmallows - for added gooey marshmallow treats.

Instructions to make these easy Lucky Charms Rice Krispie treats
Measure out ingredients and spray a 13x9 baking dish with cooking spray.
- Step 1: Place butter in a medium to large saucepan and cook over medium heat until melted. Stirring occasionally.
- Step 2: After you melt butter, add the lucky charms marshmallows and the mini marshmallows to it. Stir continuously over medium heat. Being sure it does not stick to the pan and burn. When there is a melted marshmallow mixture, turn off heat and remove pan. If some of the Lucky Charms marshmallows are not completely melted, that is okay.
- Step 3: Pour the Rice Krispies into a large bowl. Then carefully pour the butter and marshmallow mixture over them. Using a spoon, stir until all the ingredients are mixed together well.
- Step 4: Scoop the Lucky Charms Krispie treats into the prepared pan. Using a spoon or spatula, spread them all out. Making an even layer.
Hint: I spray a nonstick cooking spray on a rubber spatula when spreading the Lucky Charms rice Krispies treats. Spreading them out to make an even layer.
Variations
- Extra marshmallows - you can add extra Lucky Charms marshmallows or mini marshmallows for these fun treats.
- Topping - Leave some reserved Lucky Charms marshmallows to sprinkle on top before they cool off. You may need to push them down into the bars a little bit with a spoon.
