Easy to Make Lucky Charms Rice Krispie Treats Recipe!

Lucky Charms Rice Krispie treats is a fun twist on the classic Rice Krispie treat. And the best part is that they taste just as good. This easy dessert only has four ingredients in it and takes very little time to make.

Equipment

  • 1 Large bowl
  • 1 medium to large saucepan
  • 1 Measuring cup
  • 1 Rubber spatula
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 13x9 baking dish
  • cooking spray for baking dish
  • Parchment paper for leftovers
  • 1 Airtight container

Ingredients
  

  • 5 cups Rice Krispies
  • ½ cup butter
  • 10 oz bag mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup Lucky Charms marshmallows

Instructions
 

  • Measure out ingredients.
  • Spray a 13x9 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Place butter in a medium to large saucepan and cook over medium heat until melted. Stirring occasionally.
  • After you melt butter, add the lucky charms marshmallows and the mini marshmallows to it.
  • Stir continuously over medium heat. Being sure it does not stick to the pan and burn.
  •  When there is a melted marshmallow mixture, turn off heat and remove pan. If some of the Lucky Charms marshmallows are not completely melted, that is okay.
  • Pour the Rice Krispies into a large bowl. Then carefully pour the butter and marshmallow mixture over them. Using a spoon, stir until all the ingredients are mixed together well.
  • Scoop the Lucky Charms Krispie treats into the prepared pan. Using a spoon or spatula, spread them all out. Making an even layer.

Notes

Hint:  I spray a nonstick cooking spray on a rubber spatula when spreading the Lucky Charms rice Krispies treats. Spreading them out to make an even layer.

Storage

Wrap any leftover cereal treats in parchment paper. Then place in an airtight container and keep for up to four days at room temperature.
