- one stick of butter unsalted-8 tablespoons, softened at room temperature.
- all-purpose flour
- egg

Instructions to make Betty Crocker sugar cookies.
- Step 1: Pre heat oven temperature to 350 degrees. In a bowl, add the egg, soft butter and flour to the bagged cookie mix.
- Step 2: Stir cookie mix with a spoon for about one minute, bringing it all together. Then using your hands, kneed to make a soft mixture.
- Step 3: Dust a clean surface with all-purpose flour and roll dough over it using a rolling pin. Make cut out cookies as you like. Then place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for eight and a half minutes.
- Step 4: When finished baking, using a spatula, carefully place cookies on a cooling rack.
Hint: If you'd like light golden brown cookies as shown in the picture in step 4, bake for about ten minutes. As bake time can vary, for best results you'll want to keep an eye on your cookies as they bake. This can help to prevent them from over cooking.
