- Store in the refrigerator.
Store your leftover chicken broth in an airtight container in the refrigerator. This is good if you will be using it within a couple of days of opening the broth.
- Freeze in ice cube trays.
Do you have an ice cube tray? If so, it can come in very handy if you have some leftover chicken broth. Especially if you do not plan on using it right away. And if you do not have an ice cube tray, check out a Dollar store. I have seen them there many times.
Simply pour your leftover chicken broth into a clean ice cube tray and store in the freezer. When you are ready to use some, simply pop out the number of cubes you will need for the recipe.

- Make a batch of chicken breast or chicken noodle soup.

One cup of boiling water mixed with one chicken bouillon cube will make one cup of chicken broth. A great way I've found to use these bouillon cubes in recipes is in the crockpot or slow cooker. If I don't have a can of low sodium Swanson broth or another brand, I will use some bouillon cubes.
