It's no secret, I love the Dollar Tree. I did not start shopping there on a more regular basis until the last few years. I wish that I had realized much sooner all of the great things they have to offer. But I am happy that I do now. I have put together a list of 16 Dollar Tree must have items for November. Are there any items you did not know they sold that are on this list? Please share in the comment section.

With the upcoming holidays in November and December, we tend to cook larger meals and for more people. I always check out the Dollar Tree for my spices that I am in need of. When you finalize your holiday menus, check your spice cabinet to see what you need to stock up on. Consider stopping in the Dollar Tree to see if they have what you need. They carry a variety of them such as chopped onion, garlic powder, pumpkin pie spice, ground cinnamon and more.
2. Tin foil
I will pick up my tin foil a lot of times at the Dollar Tree when we are in need of it. I have also bought pre cut sheets of it there as well.
3. Food storage containers
When it comes to leftovers, it is great to have food storage containers on hand. You can send leftovers home with your guests and let them keep the containers. They won't need to return any dishes. How nice and convenient. Dollar Tree sells them in a variety of sizes. I have purchased packs in multiples and for only $1 per pack.

4. Tissue paper
I am not sure about you, but I always seem to be running short on tissue paper. I like to stock up on this especially during November for gifts. Whether you wrap gifts in boxes or put them in gift bags, you can never seem to have enough tissue paper for them. I have found red, green, white and sparkly tissue paper at the Dollar Tree.
5. Wrapping paper
I am always amazed at the different types of wrapping paper I find at Dollar Tree. Some of the prints I have found in the past include: Frosty the Snowman, Elf, A Christmas Story, Christmas trucks, and Christmas candy.
6. Bows
If you like to add a bow to your packages, you can find bags of bows at the Dollar Tree. I have found bags with an assortment of colors in them.
7.Holiday gift bags
The gift bags are amazing! They are such great quality. I have found the cutest holiday themed bags. They have them in an assortment of sizes. You can sometimes score 2 for $1 and even really large size bags for just $1. What an incredible value.
8. Gift tags
There are great gift tags. I have found sticker tags, tags that you can tape on and also tags with string to attach onto gifts. If you do not need a card, a gift tag works great.
9. Tape
Can we ever have enough tape when wrapping presents? I feel like I never buy enough. It could simply be because I am putting way too much on one package. At the Dollar Tree, you can score a 2 pack of tape for just $1. Now that is a deal.
Also if you plan to mail out packages, they have packaging tape as well.
10. Holiday cards
You can find an assortment of holiday cards at Dollar Tree. Do you send out several this time of year? You could score boxed cards for just $1. Are you in need of one or maybe a few cards? There is a big selection of individual cards. Many of them are 2 for $1 along with some that are $1 each. Talk about a score.
11. Christmas ornaments
I am amazed by the quality of a lot of the Dollar Tree Christmas ornaments. I have seen Santa Claus, gnomes, reindeer and snowman ornaments. This is just a handful of the many options they offer. I think it is definitely worth checking them out.
There are also make it yourself ornaments. This could be a fun idea for kids to make. They could make them for gifts or to hang on your Christmas tree.
A favorite ornament we have purchased several times has been the small clay ornaments that you can paint. These are also a cute stocking stuffer idea for kids.

12. Crafts for kids
There has often been a nice selection of crafts for kids to make. Some I have seen include snow globe ornaments, holiday figurines to paint, and felt crafts to put together. These are also great stocking stuffer and gift ideas.
13. Gloves
The colder weather if it has not already arrived in your area, should be before too long and I feel like we can never have enough gloves for it. For $1 a pair and sometimes even 2 for $1 is such an amazing deal.
Do you also seem to lose one of your gloves to each set often? This is another great reason to buy some at the Dollar Tree. You do not have to spend a lot of money on gloves.
14. Plastic tablecloths
I have seen a nice assortment of plastic tablecloths. There are solid colors and festive patterns. Along with helping to keep our tables from getting possible stains on them, it helps to make clean up much easier.
15. Festive paper products
I think there is something fun about using festive paper products. Of coarse a couple pluses to using paper products are less dishes to wash and some time saved. You could choose from a solid color or a festive holiday pattern.
16. Plastic ware
Another time saver is using plastic ware. I have seen bags of just one type of utensil and also bags with an assortment of utensils.
Conclusion
When shopping at the Dollar Tree you can score some fantastic deals. These 16 items are great finds for the month of November. They can help save you money by purchasing them there and some can help you save time when you cleanup. Some stores may not carry some items you may be looking for including the items listed above. To save yourself a trip just in case they do not have what you are looking for, consider calling them first to ask.

This is such a helpful post! Some of the items sold at our Dollar store are so small that I wonder if I am getting a decent value for things. Thanks for addressing some of that in this post! My favorite things to buy are plastic containers for storage and to send home leftovers with friends, and I always get my holiday gift wrap and bags there!

I love my Dollar Tree!! We are headed over there tomorrow to pick up ornaments for our new tree and some garland. And, I’m sure we will pick up some candy too. 😀
But, when it gets closer we will pick up tape, gift bags, bows, and tissue paper. They have a great selection and the value is fantastic!! If you get white tissue paper you get twice or three times as much and you can decorate it with rubber stamps or stickers. We like to get the foil star stickers to decorate our tissue paper. Also available at Dollar Tree.
