Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 2 cups low-fat milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1.5-2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, add the low-fat milk, water, brown sugar, ground cinnamon and vanilla extract.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • Add the quick-cooking oats.
  • Cook over medium heat for about five minutes, stirring often.
  • Turn down to simmer for about three to five minutes or until creamy.
  • Turn off heat and let cool a little bit.
  • Serve with a banana and enjoy.
