- 2 cups low-fat milk
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1.5-2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a medium saucepan, add the low-fat milk, water, brown sugar, ground cinnamon and vanilla extract.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Add the quick-cooking oats.
Cook over medium heat for about five minutes, stirring often.
Turn down to simmer for about three to five minutes or until creamy.
Turn off heat and let cool a little bit.
Serve with a banana and enjoy.
