An easy marshmallow fruit salad ambrosia dessert recipe that is a family favorite. This creamy salad boasts just five ingredients and is truly the easiest fruit salad I have ever made.

Equipment

  • 1 Large bowl
  • 1 sharp knife
  • 1 spoon
  • aluminum foil or lid for the bowl
  • 1 Airtight container

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cool whip
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup grapes
  • ¼ cup Maraschino cherries

Instructions
 

  •  The first thing to do, is to slice each grape into four pieces and each Marracino cherry in half.
  • Next, in a large bowl, combine the cool whip and miniature marshmallows. Stirring until completely mixed.
  • Add the cut-up grapes and Maraschino cherries into the fluff whip mixture. Stir all the ingredients together well.
  • Cover and refrigerate the marshmallow fruit salad for at least four hours. This step will help soften the marshmallows. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Hint: This easy ambrosia salad is a great recipe to make the day before and refrigerate overnight.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
I do not recommend freezing it. As it may not hold its consistency well and may become mooshy.
