1 air fryer
1 air fryer basket
1 air fryers pan
aluminum foil
Tongs
paper towel
1 plate
1 Airtight container
- 1 16 ounces sealed package of bacon
First, place a piece of aluminum foil on air fryer basket and place unwrapped bacon frozen, on top of it. Then place the air fryer basket over top an air fryer pan.
Second, air fry the bacon at 375 degrees for approximately eight minutes and then carefully remove from the air fryer.
Then, using tongs, separate each of the bacon into individual strips, placing in a single layer. Be sure to not overlap them. If you do not have enough room in the basket, you may need to air fry a couple of batches.
Continue air frying the bacon slices for about twenty minutes. Finally, carefully remove the cooked bacon from air fryer and place on a paper towel lined plate.
Additionally, to help elevate the level of crispiness, gently pat the bacon with a paper towel.
Hint: There will be some bacon grease on the foil. Take extra care when moving the basket and pan so that it does not spill out.
The cooking time may vary a little bit. Depending on if they are thick bacon strips or thin bacon strips and the kind of air fryer you use.
Storage
Store leftover bacon in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Enjoy the next day or for up to three days. To help keep the crispy texture, try air frying leftover bacon at 350 degrees for 2-3 minutes until warm.
